Colorado and beer go together like Oreos and milk. For everyone giving a hearty “Hear, hear!” the Lafayette Brew Fest is for you! Look no further, we’ve got everything you need to know about this event.
The Lafayette Brew Fest is Sept. 12 from 1-6 p.m. and is located at Lafayette Florist, 600 S. Public Rd. The day will be full of tasting the best variety of craft and micro brews. There will also be wine and food for sale at various booths throughout the event.
Good news! The fest is free to attend and you don’t even need to be 21 to come for the day. Beer is priced at $2 for each four-ounce pour and wine is $6 (or three pour tickets) for a nine-ounce glass. Attendees must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol. Pour tickets can be bought ahead of time until midnight Sept. 10 for the following prices (receipt must be presented day of the event):
Seven 4-ounce pours for $12 – a $14 value
14 4-ounce pours for $24 – a $28 value
The festival will feature live music from Chris Daniels and the Kings!
What to Bring and What Not to Bring
It is a brew festival, so be sure to bring your ID. Cash or credit cards are also recommended as there will be multiple food and retail vendors. Do not bring any outside food or alcohol, and it is best to leave dogs at home.
