When you live in an area like Northern Colorado, almost every day can be a celebration of beer, but in case you needed another excuse to enjoy it there’s Fort Collins Beer Week!
A full week, June 20th – 27th, of beer dinners, tastings, special tours, rare tapping’s, and beer related events are planned all over Fort Collins. Various venues all over town will be hosting their very own events featuring all kinds of great beers for to enjoy. Stop by your favorite local restaurants or watering holes to see what fun they have going on throughout the week.
The 4th Annual Brewer’s Olympics will be held on Saturday June 20th, from 12pm-5pm at Go West T-Shirt Co. This event features teams from local breweries competing in unusual challenges, in hopes of taking home the brewer’s gold medal. Show up with friends and family, enjoy a local brew, grab a bite from a local food truck, and let kids bounce around in the bouncy house. Your $10 admission includes a beer token and allows you viewing pleasure of all the fun events planned! All proceeds from the event will benefit Save the Poudre, so come have a beer to do your part to preserve the community’s most valuable water source.
Not to worry, there’s still some fun to be had if you can’t make it to the Brewer’s Olympics. The Fort Collins Beer Week Scavenger Hunt will take place throughout the entire week, sending you out to various locations across Fort Collins. Tagging yourself at the locations on social medias (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) with the hashtag #FCBWHunt will give you the chance to win prizes and swag every day, with a chance at the Grand Prize if you complete the entire scavenger hunt.
High Country Beverage is a proud sponsor of this year’s Fort Collins Beer Week and encourages the responsible and safe enjoyment of the brewer’s and brewery’s hard work.
Here’s to a week long celebration of the beer industry that supports our community!
