26th Annual Colorado Brewer’s Festival, new and improved!

HCB - Colorado Brewers Fest 2015

The longstanding festival, taking place June 26th-28th, has seen a variety of looks and locations over the years, and vows to impress in its 26th year with new additions, improved glassware, and shorter beer lines, hooray!

Fort Collins plays host to this beer event, which attracts thousands of patrons over the course of the weekend, bringing together over 50 different Colorado breweries and 100+ beers to one convenient location. The largest brewing festival in Colorado has gained national attention over the years and continues to bring brewers and beer lovers together to partake in beer tastings, classes, and various events.

Get started on Friday night at The Summit, an event put on in collaboration with The Colorado Brewer’s Guild and caters to the connoisseur minded beer folks. Guests will be treated to 40+ rare/specialty beers, poured by the brewers themselves. A string quartet will play to your ears delight, as you sip on your beer and nibble on complimentary far from local food trucks, cheese from The Welsh Rabbit, and Kilwin’s treats.

You’ll need a good breakfast to get your Saturday off on the right foot, so why not go to Breakfast & Brews at The Mainline. In its second year, you’ll get to enjoy a specially prepared breakfast paired with carefully selected beers. Sign up for breakfast and you’ll receive your glass and tasting tickets early, as well as access to will-call entry without a wait.

After you’re fed, its time for the real fun to begin!

Saturday and Sunday festival sessions will take place in Downtown Fort Collins, Washington Park and Civic Center Park, from 11am-5pm each day. Entry to this event is FREE, however, in order to consume beer you’ll need to purchase a tasting package. The tasting package can be purchased in advance for $25 ($30 day of) and will include a commemorative Govino “Go-Anywhere” 16oz beer glass and 10 taster tickets, which can be used to redeem beer OR food.

With live music, tasty beer and food options, and lots of fun activities, this event is one you won’t want to miss this summer!
