Oskar Blues has teamed up with Lyons Outdoor Games and Colorado Brewers Guild again this year to bring you an event filled with CANNED beer and outdoor excitement!

A celebration of craft beer in a CAN, taking place in Bohn Park, just a few blocks away from where it all began years ago for Oskar Blues.  Beautiful Lyons, CO is home this unique celebration of the use of aluminum cans filled with your favorite craft beers.  After being one of the front runners in the craft beer industry with their use of cans, many have followed suit, and Oskar Blues has invited over 40 of their CAN using friends to join them!

On May 31st, Oskar Blues and their brewery friends invite you to join them at Bohn Park for an afternoon filled with outdoor adventure sports and a CANNED beer garden.  The 40+ breweries will be pouring over 150 different delicious canned beer options, with styles varying from pale lagers to thick and creamy stouts.  Get in an hour earlier (3pm-4pm) than the general admission folk with a VIP ticket for $45, or purchase a GA ticket in advance for $30 ($35 the day of) and indulge in CANNED goodness from 4pm-7pm.

Oskar Blues CAN’d Aid Foundation plans to donate all proceeds from the event to benefit the Colorado Brewers Guild and the Town of Lyons Parks and Rec department.

Taking in the scenic views of Rocky Mountain National Park, watching adventure athletes perform, and enjoying live music, all while sipping on your favorite canned craft beer.

CAN’t get much better than that!

Bring on Fort Collins Beer Week!

Join breweries, restaurants, and businesses May 11th – May 18th for Fort Collins Beer Week!  The weeklong event, coinciding with American Craft Beer Week, is meant to cultivate and ignite relationships between the community and its brewers.

The Colorado Brewers Guild and Fortified Collaborations have come together to put on this amazing event, planning beer dinners, tastings, tours, and even a Brewers Olympics!

Things will get started Sunday, May 11th with the Opening Night Bash at Tony’s Bar and Rooftop, which has seen recent renovations and has a new chef working up some great things in the kitchen.  This ticketed event ($20) taking place from 5pm-8pm will feature hors d’oeuvres, great local beer options, and live music from “The Waido Experience” starting at 6pm.  Plus you receive a commemorative FCBW glass and two drink tickets!

That is just the tip of the iceberg, as restaurants, bars, and businesses all over Fort Collins are getting in on the action offering up daily and weeklong specials.  Places like Jax Fish House, Town Pump, Choice City Butcher and Deli, and many more local favorites will be hosting a variety of deals and events to help celebrate this community building celebration.
