We just wanted to take our last post a step further to reiterate the promotion that Colorado Native Lager did on Facebook.
The verbiage on the post read:
“Show your support for Coloradans by ‘Liking’ and Sharing this photo! We’ll donate $1 for every ‘like’ (up to $10,000) to the Mile High Red Cross. Colorado Native Lager supports our friends, families and communities that have been impacted by these blazes AND the men and women risking their lives to fight the fires. Be Colorado Proud, click ‘LIKE’ and pass it on! Thanks ALL!”
Needless to say, they very much passed their goal. The photo is currently still up and has 1,697 “shares” with 23,791 “likes” and 117 comments on the post itself.
Here is the famous photo:
You can still share the photo from the NoCo Nightlife Facebook page.
Over the past few weeks, High Country Beverage has executed a variety of promotions to help financially assist those impacted by High Park Fire. Last month, High Country Beverage paired up with MillerCoors to donate 50 cents for every case of Coors Original and Coors Light purchased at a HCB distribution location. Along with that promotion, High Country Beverage, New Belgium Brewery and the Fort Collins Old Chicago locations held a fundraiser to benefit victims of the High Park Fire, both efforts bringing in over $20,000.
At the beginning of this month, Colorado Native Lager, a High Country Beverage brand, committed to donating one dollar for every new ‘like’ that the firefighter image on the Colorado Native Lager Facebook page received. Within one day, the photo received over 14,000 ‘likes’ and 845 shares on Facebook. Colorado Native Lager will be making a donation of $10,000 to the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross to assist communities impacted by fires in Colorado.

“In this community, it is impossible to stand still while your neighbors are suffering. As soon as the fires hit, we knew we would have to get involved in helping, we just didn’t know how. We are thankful for MillerCoors, Old Chicago and Colorado Native Lager for joining in our efforts to help the victims of these Colorado wildfires,” said Steve Nichols, President of High Country Beverage.
