Old Town Fort Collins is seeing some pretty interesting and exciting changes to the bar scene lately.
The bar scene in Fort Collins, just like any college town, is constantly changing. Every week it seems as though a new bar is dominating Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
The most notable changes begin back with Tony’s implementing their rooftop patio, overlooking the streets of Old Town and changing the face of Tony’s. Following their rooftop, they went through and remodeled the inside of the entire bar, making large improvements to the atmosphere.
After Tony’s came the beer bars such as The Mayor of Old Town and Tap & Handle.
The newest addition to Old Town is Yeti Bar and Grill, which was formerly the upstairs portion of 100 Octane. Yeti Bar and Grill brings to Fort Collins an indoor-outdoor bar for the Summertime, a great atmosphere and an American-themed restaurant. The inside of Yeti is designed to look and feel like a mountain lodge, and we think they’ve done a great job at accomplishing that.
Owned by Tony Campana, Michael Campana and Chris Brown, Yeti has been designed so that it completely separates the 100 Octane bar downstairs.
Campana was quoted in the Coloradoan saying that he isn’t expecting much crossover between The Yeti and 100 Octane. “100 Octane pretty much has its own clientele, and they’re very loyal. I see a whole different demographic at The Yeti,” he said.

If you haven’t checked out Yeti yet, or if you haven’t spent a Sunday afternoon on the rooftop patio at Tony’s- we highly suggest doing both sooner than later.
